Hosanna, Hosanna

Yesterday was Palm Sunday. Today we talked about what Palm Sunday is all about. We watched this short video: 


Then we talked about how everybody was cheering for Jesus and waved palms for him. They also took their coats off (cloaks) and put them on the ground for Jesus and his donkey to walk on.

We tried this in our classroom so each student could understand how Jesus felt walking through the town! We cheered for them, shouted "Hosanna" and even high-fived them!
(We all made sure that there was nothing in our pockets before we put them on the ground to walk on)

I had to post this photo of the morning students' shoes. I asked them to take their shoes off and put them at the red table. I turned around to see this!! Look how nice and organized they look! Well done!

Then, the students had three different worksheets to choose from. The rest of the worksheets will be sent home to finish at home!
