Thank You, Jesus

Sometimes we say our "Thank You, Jesus" prayer at the end of the day. We pass around a talking stick and thank Jesus for a blessing in our life. The Kinders took their turns and thanked Jesus for many blessings. As the kids take turns, they pass around a talking stick. We learned that only the person with the talking stick gets to talk. This is a great way to learn about sharing and taking turns. 

We have so many blessings to be thankful for in our lives and sometimes we get so busy that we forget to say thank you to Jesus. This is a great way to close down our busy day and take the time to all listen and look at each other, while thanking and praying to Jesus. 

Today I heard some of these prayers:

Thank you, Jesus for my house

Thank you, Jesus for my bed

Thank you, Jesus for my parents

Thank you, Jesus for my mom

Thank you, Jesus for my teacher (I especially liked this one!!)

Thank you, Jesus for my friends

Thank you, Jesus for my dog

Thank you, Jesus for everything

Thank you, Jesus for school
