Philippines

This student in the afternoon class lost a tooth! This is not her first tooth she's lost. She chose the Philippines.

New Insect Centre

We have a new centre in our classroom: The Insect Centre!

The Kinders are especially loving this centre as it features REAL bugs in jars. They can choose a bug, find the corresponding bug word card, and then draw and print the bug on their paper.

We also have a "Museum Centre." We are borrowing an insect kit from our local museum which features real bug fossils, books, and games.

Dominican Republic

Last week another student lost a baby tooth!

She chose the Dominican Republic.

Baby Teeth

We had one student in the morning class and two students in the afternoon class lose a baby tooth!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

The Kinders had a wonderful day of spoiling their moms or grandmas at our Mother's Day party!!

The Kinders gave hand massages, painted nails and pictures, decorated cupcakes (generously donated from a local business) and played with the kindergarten centres with their mom or grandma.

Thank you to those of you were able to take time off work to come to our party!

This is the AM Class:

This is the bouquet of flowers I received from my AM class. They were all waiting to give me a flower as I came in after recess!! Thank you to that mom who organized that. You are so creative and thoughtful!!!
