We had some visitors in our room last night! The Kinders were very shocked!
Take a look at the footprints that were left behind:
6 of our Dino Centres were introduced. Here's what they are in detail:
1. Dinosaur Card Centre
This centre has dinosaur information cards, vocabulary cards, dinosaur number cards and dinosaur alphabet cards.
2. ABC Fossil Find Centre
This centre takes place in the sand table. Hidden in the sand table are alphabet fossils. The students need to find the fossils, using their dinosaur beak or claws (those are the tongs in the sand table), identify the letter, and circle or colour that letter on their sheet.
3. Dinosaur Activity Sheets
In this centre there are countless activity sheets including: dinosaur colouring, dinosaur same or different, dinosaur matching, etc.
4. Dinosaur Finger Gym
At this centre, students have a bucket of mini dinosaur toys. Using their fingers, they can play with their friends using the dinosaur toys.
5. Dinosaur Book Making Centre
At this centre, students create their own dinosaur book. They begin by bringing me white sheets of paper. I fold them in half and staple them into a book. Then, the students can use their dinosaur word wall, stickers, and imagination, to make a dinosaur book!
6. Dinosaur Paleontology Centre
At this centre, students pretend to be paleontologists by chipping away at fossils. This centre is a big hit!!
