It's the beginning of a new month - this means new desks!!
The students were very excited to get to know their new desk buddies. They were chosen completely at random. I walked around with each students' name in a basket, and pulled out names for each table!
We talked today about how you might not end up sitting beside your best friend. It might be a friend you end up sitting beside and it might be someone you don't know very well. This is a great opportunity to get to know someone rather than pout or be upset that you aren't with your best friends!
